About: Pranay’s favorite mock trial story is about his flight home from CUBAIT 2022. The 2022-23 case was about a plane crash, and Pranay was an expert whose entire testimony centered around how circling your plane or trying to make an emergency landing if something goes wrong mid-flight was extremely dangerous. On his flight back home, the plane’s cabin started to lose pressure, and Pranay woke up to his plane circling and then making an emergency landing in the middle of nowhere in Virginia! He says it was a little scary, but the whole experience spoke to one of his favorite things about mock trial — how the minutia of our cases and theories apply to our real lives.
